Hi, I am Emily Shields.

I started my photography journey in 2020 when the pandemic hit. My best friend and I were out just goofing around taking pictures in my backyard, trying out new concepts and ideas, and having fun (the way photoshoots should be). I bought my first camera in October 2021 and joined a creatives group of like minded photographers and models. I spent years growing and learning as a photographer, collaborating with others to create fun and exciting photoshoots. While expanding my career and portfolio, I was helping spark the careers of other upcoming models.

I am a mom of two beautiful girls. Before becoming a stay at home mom I had a career in real estate. I had the opportunity to work full time for a company who let me photograph their investment properties at all stages of the process: acquisitions, rentals, and new listings. After the birth of my second daughter in June 2024, I dove head first into newborn photography. Nothing makes my heart happier then getting to hold and capture the earliest memories of newborns. I am so blessed getting to be photographer and a stay at home mom.   I love that I am able to be creative and capture everyone's special moments.
